We feel it is important to discuss our examination findings with you and make recommendations for treatment.
Following the examination and consultation, and prior to starting treatment, fees will always be discussed. Generally, we expect payment at the time services are rendered unless financial arrangements have been made prior to your visit. We are able to make limited financial arrangements within the practice and have a financial service company available for extended arrangements. For your convenience, we do accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Monthly statements are sent out on all open accounts so that you, the patient may monitor insurance payments on your account. California Law requires insurance companies to pay or respond to a claim within 30 days. If we find insurance delays a payment beyond 60 days we may ask for your assistance as your insurance company will respond faster to the insured's request!
Until we have established a relationship with your insurance company we ask that you take care of your first visits fees. We will however still assist you in filing all the paperwork to your insurance company.
We are happy to assist our patients in obtaining their maximum benefit with their insurance plans. While we do the best to assist you, we will ask you to understand that dental insurance is a contracted benefit between the patient, the patient’s employer, and the insurance company. At no time is the insurance company obligated to pay benefits to the dental practice. Therefore, the patient or the patient’s guardian is ultimately responsible for the balance on their account. As such, we can make no guarantee of estimated coverage or payments. However please know we will do everything possible to see you receive your benefits.
For your convenience, we are pleased to accept outside patient financing. Please inquire for more information.
